Landowners are able to utilize the right-of-way provided they do not interfere with the safe operation of the pipeline, including the maintenance of continuous and clear access to the right-of-way by Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline’s personnel.

Please remember that before any type of excavation work may be done within the right-of-way, Dig Safe and Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline’s Operations must be contacted. In Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Dig Safe may be contacted toll free at 811 or 888-344-7233. Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline’s requires an inspector be present during excavation and will assign company personnel to monitor the work.
