Operations

The Operations group at Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline is responsible for operating the pipeline system.

Responsibilities include monitoring the pipeline system by foot, aerial patrol and an advanced telemetry satellite system. Operations also maintains the pipe, valves, cathodic corrosion protection, gas measurement, gas quality, telemetry, communications, controls and instrumentation.

In addition, the Operations team is there to answer any questions you may have about the operation of a natural gas pipeline system. For specific information regarding the locations of M&NP facilities, and operation policies and practices, contact the M&NP Operations office in your province.
